I had the single lettuce wrap and onion rings, best onion rings I ever had it has to be the batter, but whatever the sauce is , I wish they had it for sake.

This reminds me so much of In N out!! They have a very similar sauce to in n out which was delicious! The burger was flavorful but I would say the star was the spicy onion rings!! They had more of a kick than I expected which was so good, I kept eating more of them. I'll be back!

This burger joint is a must-visit for late-night cravings! After driving past it countless times, I finally stopped in, and I can't believe what I've been missing. As Chicagoans, we know a great burger beats deep-dish pizza any day, and this place did not disappoint. The meat was juicy, tender, and packed with flavor, and the fry sauce was a delicious bonus. I'll definitely be coming back sooner rather than later!

Great burger! Service was fast. We ordered at kiosk. The restaurant was kind of empty when we went for lunch. Tables could've been wiped down cleaner. Oh well.

This grab & go type of restaurant has a relaxed vibe and it's also shared with Beard Papa's dessert spot. The burger was rich and oily in the best way. I loved how soft the bun was and the patty to bun ratio was perfect. Their salt fries reminded me of animal fries from in n out. They're just as good as the burger.

I'm on a mission to try more burgers in Chicago, and Salt has been on my list for a while. I finally got around to ordering from this fast-casual spot, and I have to say, it did not disappoint. Delivery was quick--only took about 30 minutes to arrive, which was great. I ordered the Double Cheeseburger, Salt Fries, and Onion Rings, with a side of their Salt Sauce. Let me just say, the burger was incredible--easily one of the best I've had in the city. Their sauce, which reminds me of that classic Thousand Island/secret sauce style, took the burger to another level. I devoured it so fast that I wished I'd ordered a second one! The Salt Fries are a must-try. Sometimes I skip on loaded fries with a burger because it can feel a bit heavy, but the medium portion size was perfect. At only $4, it was a steal. I loved that they included banana peppers as a topping--it was a nice touch. The Onion Rings were solid--not mind-blowing, but good. Dipping them in the Salt Sauce definitely elevated them, so I'm glad I got that extra side. Overall, Salt is a place I'd happily eat at again, whether I'm in Wicker Park or just craving a great burger at home. A definite 10/10 in my book!

Wow!!! I love a good smash burger and Salt is doing it! Ordered two single patty burgers, loaded fries, and onion rings! All very delicious. The onion rings had the spicy seasoning and boy are they giving the kick! Service was good and the ambiance is cute Definitely recommend trying!

This spot was pretty good. The burger was very flavorful, but the burger integrity didn't hold up great. I really liked it, but it kind of felt like I was eating a sloppy Joe at times. This seems like it would be a great late night spot but it closes at 10. The workers were very friendly, but this is a place where they have a giant screen where you have to place your order at. I'm probably just getting old, but I hate when places have the self order screens. Just take my order please. Overall good place.

I was debating between giving this place a 3 or 4 star review. Still not a big fan of ordering from a screen and then get asked to tip and the end. The service? There is no service. You place your order on the screen and then they call your order number and walk away. There's no thank you or eye contact. And there's also no condiments outside either. The burger though. That's a different story. Screw the customer service I guess. As long as the food is good, sometimes in the end, that's all that really matters. It was a very delicious burger indeed. The patty tasted fresh and was seasoned perfectly. Would definitely be returning for this fairly priced burger. We also ordered their Fuego fries. These were definitely spicy. But also very addicting to eat. I would probably recommend eating these after you're finished with your burger. Otherwise you won't have any tastebuds. Beard Papas is also in the same building. I'll right a separate review for them...
